Capabilities
There are several possibilities and cost benefits for allowing Wake Information Systems
to host your web site.
Transfer an existing domain name
If you currently have a domain name registered with InterNIC, we can transfer the
domain name from your current provider.
- Register a new domain name

- We can register a new domain name to host on our servers. This means you pay
the standard InterNIC registration and annual maintenance fees while hosting the site on
our servers. Your URL will look like:
www.yourdomain.com
- Register a "subdomain" name
- We can establish a "subdomain" name here at Wake Information Systems for a
one-time setup fee. Unlike standard InterNIC domain registrations, there are no
recurring annual fees. Your URL will look like:

- Register a "parked" domain

- We can "park" your site on the Wake information Systems domain for a one-time
setup fee. Unlike standard InterNIC domain registrations, there is no registration
fee or recurring annual fees. Your URL will look like:

Pricing (effective 01-Feb-2001)
For new web accounts, all setup and registration fees must be paid in advance prior to
the site being made available to the general public. This policy will not be waived
under any circumstances.
The first two months web hosting fees must also be paid prior to the site going
on-line. Thereafter, accounts will be billed and are payable in advance net 30.
Accounts more than 15 days delinquent will be taken off-line and may be subject to
additional setup fees to re-establish the site. Returned checks for web hosting fees
are deemed delinquent accounts and will be taken off-line immediately.
Account Setup

- The web host account setup fee is a one-time administrative fee to get your web
site setup and running on our servers.

Domain Registration
- Transfer an existing domain name - $29.95
We will handle the necessary details to transfer your existing domain name
for hosing on our servers.
- New Domain Registration - Standard InterNIC Rate - $70
InterNIC currently charges $70 for for a domain registration, which covers 2 years.
At the beginning of the third year you are billed $35 and then $35 each year
thereafter. This is the standard InterNIC fee with no additional service charge
from Wake Information Systems.
- Subdomain Name Registration Fee - $49.95
Subdomain name registration is a one-time administrative fee to register the domain name
and create the appropriate links on our server.

- Parked Domain Name Registration Fee - $29.95

- Parked domain name registration is a one-time administrative fee to register the domain
name and create the appropriate links on our server.
Search Engine Registration Service
- Be seen! Let Wake Information Systems register your web site to the major
search engines and more! We can register your domain to over 1000
different search engines for just $19.95.
Monthly Web Account Fees
Monthly Domain and Subdomain Web Hosting Accounts - $29.95
- The web hosting fee is a monthly recurring charge to host and maintain your web site
on-line. Site updates are allowed within the guidelines noted below. You are
allowed up to 15Mb of web space. Additional server space may be purchased for a

Monthly Parked Domain Web Hosting Account - $19.95
- The web hosting fee for a parked domain is a monthly recurring charge to host and
maintain your web site on-line. Site updates are allowed within the guidelines noted
below. You are allowed up to 5Mb of web space. Additional server space may be
purchased for a nominal monthly charge. Contact Wake Information Systems for more
information.
SSL Certificate - $5.00
If you require the use of secure forms, you may use our SSL certificate
for a low monthly fee.
Site Update Policy
- Wake Information Systems will update your site once each month at no additional
charge not to exceed 1 hour. All changes must be requested with at least 14 days notice.
Site changes requiring more than 1 hour will incur additional charges at
$35.00 per hour. Please contact Wake Information Systems for special circumstances and
